Paper Airplane Good lord, I love Ed Norton.
I learned photoshop as a freshman in college.
Eleven years later, I still use it. I’m a graphic designer.
How I did it: Just go onto stumbleupon (I like the toolbar on firefox) and then search "photoshop" and then just press the stumble button until you get to a tutorial, do it, and repeat for the rest of your life whenever you have free time.
That's how I did it :)
Lessons & tips: Do a lot of tutorials
Resources: stumbleupon
This website has some links to some great photoshop tutorials

AHHHH ! How frustrating turns out I used the wrong book! The book turn out to be for Adobe Illustrator not Adobe CS3 which I have. That expalin why I can’t do lots of things that the book was trying to show me. A visit to the library would solve this set back.
I just completed the first chapter of my photoshop guide book. Learned alot however I can’t find certain things that the book showed such as the smart guides. I learned a few useful foundation skills though such as grids and guides. Next chapter will deal with drawing lines and shapes using the tools on Photoshop.
I’ve got this book titled ‘Adobe Illustrator CS3 HOW-TOs 100 essential techniques’ as a guide through this hard goal. I’ve devoted one day of my week(every Wednesday), a few hours(min. 2 hours) to study photoshop. This regime would last for only one month i.e. starting from 8-29 April 2009 only.
I have been to my class twice. It helps, but I wish it would move along a little faster. It is an hour and a half, but the content could be reduced to about 25 minutes. Certainly helping though.
Signed up for a community eduacation class meets once a week for six weeks. Now I can stop ignoring those library books on photoshop lying on my nightstand.
Next issue: finding a babysitter for those classes for the next six weeks.
i really want to learn this software’s functions--specially to my habit of playing pictures-
I loved learning how to use thi software. I still think I’m in the beginner stage but I’ve already come out with beautiful creations. This is a really useful software to learn.
