I loved learning how to use thi software. I still think I’m in the beginner stage but I’ve already come out with beautiful creations. This is a really useful software to learn.
I’m converted.
I used to be against Photoshop, but I decided that I hadn’t tried it so I didn’t have the right to judge it.. and boy have I been missing out!
It makes my photos a hundred times better, even if I just adjust the colors. This is soo helpful when you have a camera that exaggerates and changes the natural colors of the subject, as mine does.
Can’t believe I’ve been taking pictures for so long without using this!
I enjoy photoediting, but don’t really know how to leverage all the tools. I am most interested in learning photoshop to 1) restore old family photos and 2) embelish and modify my own photos to create “works of art” that make me happy
I know it’s the industry standard, but GAH it’s a pain! I much prefer Paint Shop Pro. PSP is so much more intuitive and, I find it takes less steps to get the same result.
I have found for photo manipulation and creating graphics, both for web and press use. Combined with Adobe Illustrator, you can create ANYTHING you want to! Good luck guys!
Currently not enough spare change to own Photoshop..
But I’m taking a class that teaches the basics. So far it seems pretty interesting, but I think I may be more of a “raw” photography person. Only time will tell.
so i did some reading and got a crash course on the basics of the program from a friend of mine, focusing on tools for digital photography. it helped A LOT and i’ve been adjusting and playing with pictures ever since! there’s still a lot to learn, but it’s enough to fix my portfolio and work with students.
