So I got rollerblades for my belated-birthday gift from my boyfriend, but now I have to learn to stop… braking is so hard for me, I always loose my balance, so instead I have to make grass-stops.

I used to own some in sixth grade and I would rollerblade all the time (plus I used to live in a flat, road-rich community). Now I live on a hill and there are tons of potholes. But I will not give up. I must rollerblade.

When I was on Spring break in France, and especially Paris this year I saw a lot of people with rollerblades. This reminded me of a life goal to be able to speed about on this with expert agility, especially at college (although my freshman roommate told me this was lame). I hope that after I’ve paid off some of my study-abroad debt this summer, that I can buy myself a pair of these beauts.
im probably going to go for the speedmachine 8.0’s by rollerblade. highly suggest rollerblade to anyone, they make awsome products, ive been using them for about 5 years now.

I can’t find a pair of blades I like anywhere!
I used to ice skate years ago, when i was in Milan…and then, after years and years of doing basically “nothing”, i went last Saturday to rollerblade with a friend of mine, who’s just starting to learn, in the park. Well, guess what ? I’m still good at it and i liked it so much that i think i’m going to do it every week-end, especially now that the ummer is on its way…so, i just have to wait for my next salary and start rollin’... :)
i think it’d be not as much strain on my knees so it’d be good to invest in a pair of skates. plus, it’d give me a tight ass.
Done this afternoon with L. I tried lots of pairs and bought the first one. They’re gray, they cost me a hundred euros, they’re sort of confortable, and I can’t wait to use them.
Edit: we just spent 45 minutes rollerblading around the Grande Bibliothèque. I only fell once. I really had fun.
