How I did it: Theres no short cut, I'm afraid. You just have to persevere. When you get it to a stage you can wear it up without driving you mad, its pretty much plain sailing from there. Try buns or pleats too. Read how I did it…

How I did it: Trim 3/4 an inch every two months. Wash your hair at night so you don't need to blow dry it. Use Nexxus Humectress Conditioner. Trust me, it's worth it! Long hair is better when healthy. Read how I did it…

How I did it: Before I used to complain about my hair not growing at all. No wonder why ..my ends were not badly damaged but I was still trimming my hair half inch every month!" I was trimming off as much as it had grown every month! So now I do it every 4 months and you can totally see the difference, plus I use leave in conditioner at the ends all the time with UV protection. Try it .. you will clearly see a change. Read how I did it…
How I did it: everytime i grow my hair out i just want to cut it all off again! I'm glad it was long for our wedding and I'll probaly keep it ong through the winter but afterwards i think i want to chop it all off. to my chin. Read how I did it…
How I did it: well i didn't cut it for a year, and then it was only to my shoulders, so i bought clip on extensions. i know thats kind of cheating but i love love love them!!!! now i can decide everyday if i want long hair or shorter hair. Read how I did it…

Agent77 cleaning up my list
Well it’s been 10 months since I trimmed my hair and started really growing my hair out. I started out about an inch or so above APL and now there actually tiny strands grazing BSL, and it’s only November. My 2009 goal was to make CBL in the front, which is basically done and be near BSL with hopes to be at BSL by my Bday in February. I think for 2010 is to be APL in the front and near MBL in the back. this is of course stretched since I’m still natural. and I’m still anemic with the slow growing hair
Hopefully I’ll be waist length in the back by my 25th bday in Feb 2011. That’s about 10 inches to go.
deftrachel is reconsidering everything
I think my hair is at what you would call ‘medium length’..
I’ve coloured a couple of times . . this damaged my hair, and didn’t turn out as well as I had hoped.. but still better looking then my natural colour.
wish it would just hurry up and grow.. I’m almost half way through this and I haven’t lost my mind yet, so there is no point quitting now.
my hair is finally to my shoulders but not quite where i want it yet…slowly but surely it is getting there. i want to cut it so bad right now because it is in its awkward stage. i hope i have the courage to keep growing it
Yesterday I purchased a hair oil called ‘Wild Growth Hair Oil’ from a beauty products store. I read really good reviews about this oil and I’m curious to see if it really helps to grow my hair. My goal is to grow my hair by at least 2 to 3 inches by my birthday in March 2010.
i accidentally chopped off all my hair. its like really, really short. i have a feeling hair clips are going to be my best friends for a while.
edit: i change my mind; i like it. now i can tie my hair into cute mini-pigtails :]
mdd2nd who knew being drug free was so hard to be? day 2
I’ve been growing my hair out since the beginning of the semester, and it is finally starting to get long. It’s nice hearing people say your hair is getting long. I won’t lie I’ve been contemplating cutting it, because I feel like it looks a bit weird, but I just need to get use to it. I’ve never had long hair before so it’s a bit weird

I think my hair is the kind that isn’t allowed to grow that long or very quickly…..but I don’t mind that so much, because for once I’ve had patience. My aim was to let all the dye grow out, and that I have now done! It’s taken about a year and a half for the dye to fully come out, but I’ve tried to be kind and gentle to my hair; leaving it in peace to do it’s own thing – not using any chemicals or heat on it and getting it trimmed a little now and then. It could be a little healthier than it is at the moment, but I think that’s down to diet more than anything.
I’m going to continue growing my hair and work on improving the diet, but I am glad that I am finally rid of the dye and my natural colour is shining through once again!
Lauryn is trying not to lose her mind
last december, i decided i wanted to have long hair again, so i’ve been growing it out since then (10 months so far, blah!) it was a little bit past my ear then, like a bit above chin length. the back was like, even shorter. anyways, now it’s a bit above my boobs/a little past my shoulders in the front, and just to the bottom of my neck in the back.
GROW!!!!!!! it’s so annoying :/
Voulez-Vous is looking 4ward 2 da fireworks
i have grown my hair out now, it took 10 months! now i want to grow it long.
