I just started my new job on monday. Even though I am doing the same thing I was doing at my old job, it is still hard to adjust to new people and new work conditions. The place I’m at now is a lot smaller so the work doesn’t take as long, so I have to slow my pace so that I don’t finish early and have nothing to do like I did on Monday. I think after a few weeks I will be used to it and be able to find things to do to fill my entire shift.

danimatian is running all over new york
i left my hometown, took a job in downtown chicago at post house / special effects / animation studio and i am so very glad i did. the money isn’t what you would think it would be but every day i smile and i love the folks i work with. chicago is truly like no where else on earth and the advertsing market is about storytelling and not about creating commercials like a factory worker would spew out the same thing over and over. every spot gets a personal touch here and that is an amazing thing to be a part of.
I just got this job at Panera Bread making their new pizzas called crispanis. It took 3 days to train and every day I’ve been going in there taking care of everything myself, mastering the whole crispani making process. I am the best in the store and am the only one they use to make them. I also train others from time to time, showing them how to do it right. I love my job.
You are just what I needed! Someone else to do some work, produce some positive results, and kick my ass into gear. Nothing motivates me like a little competition. :) We’re neck and neck now- here’s hoping we both churn it out this month!!!
Money, money, money….....
WOW…What a terrible month so far for sales! I have really been busting my tail and have no results to show for it. It’s soooo disappointing.
On a positive note, I did win an iPod during Employee Appreciation Week. I’m uploading songs now; yay! :)
Although my #s for July were under goal, they were better than the others who have more experience than me.
If you’re the best of the mediocre, are you really the best?
I made my own, more aggressive, goals for August with daily targets. I need that little motivation staring up from calendar every morning.
November is my personal goal for where I want my performance to be. And it really NEEDS to be there for this position to be financially rewarding. November’s not so far away, really….
I did a little of almost every position possible in the last two days. Maybe if I did my job only, I would do it better. Crazy thought, huh? Bring your butts to work, people!
My first application is closing and becoming a bonafide loan on Friday, woo hoo!! Also, my apps are in double digits now- not too shabby for month one!
I got a promotion; I have only been in my new position for 3 weeks now. I’m excited about the potential of this position and would like to do very well at it. I want them to make a special award just for me :) at our company convention this year. (yeah right- but it would be fun!)
