How to save up for an i-pod

How I did it: Last year, I had planned to buy an Ipod Touch, but for my own reasons, I hesitated, come to find out, the Ipod Touch had some software changes added and after considering the pluses and minuses(mainly if I'm on the street, I'd like to have my email handy just in case someone would reach me this way, but once I found out you have to have wi-fi and be somewhere to access it, that killed that deal. I may still get one eventually, but hopefully when it's a bit more mobile. And usually, I'm not a big saver, but I am also working on that, so once my income tax refund came in, I got one. I also got a $15 Walmart card, a warranty, and they extended my Sam's Club card to a Premium Membership.
Lessons & tips: 1. If you want one, RESEARCH,RESEARCH,RESEARCH what you want. I went to Apple.com, Amazon, Ciao.com, Yahoo, many sites to see what they are all about and go to the stores and look at it to keep your mind on one. Even in most recent months, broke as I was, no job, looking at it gave me a bit of hope.
2. If you are a saver or budget well, look at the price, and divide it by 2,4,5 or 10. Put in an envelope and mark it IPOD.
3. have a picture of the model you desire and keep it on hand.
4. Or if you want, wait until you get your income tax and buy it.

So i have an itouch! LOVE IT TO DEATH!!!
I dont belive i could function without my music it goes everywhere with me. Although if your carless like i am i would suggest not geting an itouch, because well…i cracked mine. UGH not like completly broke it OMG my dad would have a cow! no its just a lill crack on the bottom but its anoying thats for sure.

my iPod classic f*ed up last week, and i don’t have enough money to buy a new one.
so i have to wait for my birthday in july for money to buy a new one
im aiming to get an iPod nano 4th gen. or wait for the 5th gen

i lost my previous mp3 and i went shopping for a new music player. and i dont know why, my friend was encouraging me to buy the new ipod, but i refused and sticked to my mp3 and bought a new mp3. i always wanted a ipod!! and now i realize that its just music. and the same music can be put on a mp3. and its just the madness and the advertisements that we see for ipods that make us crave it. theres really other things in my life i want and need more than a ipod. so im proudly taking this off my list. and plus, i dont have time to deal with itunes or whatever that is. and every new few months, there’s a new ipod thats somehow “cooler” than the one u just bought. loll, i cant keep up with thatt.

I have been salivating over one of them things for the longest. I would love an 32gb Ipod touch and figure by income tax, I can buy one or basically save up or go through one of them online groups where you recruit others and they get something they want and you get your Ipod. With me not working that is a good alternative. So, with all things considered, I may do one of the three and go from there.

it shouldn’t matter, it’s just a material object.
I’ve decided to give up on this one, because I don’t want it as much as I used to…
if, in the future, I have some extra money to buy something, I might consider it. But since it’s over 200 dollars, it’ll be a hard decision.

I love my new iPod!! I got the new 80gb and I have about 30gb on it, and now I want to download more music and videos for it but my computer doesn’t have enough space! I don’t know what to do now :(
