take eloquent pictures

would be really helpful with this goal. Also, I’m going to start saving up for a new camera, though I realize it’s not all equipment!

My digitals are the primary cameras I use and, as sad as it is, I usually have my trust, but old, canon in my purse. Most of my shots are captured with it, since I carry it around almost all the time. Maybe it’s because I would miss the pics on the memory card more than the camera, in case it was stolen? ;o)

Regardless, I really enjoy photography and would love to take a class to help me with inspiration and some new ideas on staging, technique, and composition. I think I’ll look into it soon!!! With my husband getting ready to deploy, I think a class will be a good way to help the time pass and keep me from moping around the house the whole time. Bonus: photo essays will be a good way to keep him up to speed with what’s going on around the homestead. :o)

just aren’t worth a thousand words. Sorry, but there ya have it. I know that I can’t make every shot THEE shot that I wanted to capture, but I’d love to have pictures that say something to people, even if it’s different things to different people.

I want people to feel the impact of an image first, and consider composition second, if at all. I’d love for the emotion to jump off the print to the point where people know exactly what’s being said – they can build their own story around the image. It says something to them in a unique way.

Hmm. I dont’ ask for much, do I? ;)
