I am my own worst critic. I worry far too much. I want to just be okay with me and not worry what others think so much.
How to feel less insecure
How I did it: I realised I'm not at all insecure about my body (anymore). I'm not insecure about the way I am (anymore). When I'm around strangers, I'm not scared to just be myself. To say the things I want to say and to admit liking the things I like. If people don't like it, too bad for them, there are enough people who like me and who are willing to hang out with me when I'm just being my old dorky self.
Lessons & tips: Just be yourself, that's all I can say. Ask your friends and family what they like about you and take pride in those characteristics and talents. Don't dwell on the things that didn't go well or negative things that people have said to or about you. Learn from the positive things in life and learn to deal with negative experiences without letting them hold you back.
