I type with 8 fingers and 2 thumbs – haha! Seriously though, I do this… I type quite fast with my hands on the keyboard. I taught myself when I was younger. It’s useful!

...giving up this goal. I’m sorry, but it’s just WAY too frustrating! The ’s’ key is annoying, and whenever I try to press it, half the time it takes the ‘a’ or ‘d’ key with it. Maybe I need to learn to relax, but whenever I work on my program, I just keep seeing red at every little mistake I make (yes, I’m that kind of person). And I’m not really going to have any use for it until my touch-typing speed is faster than my regular typing speed. I cheated on my typing program just to test it, and it said that I can reach about 25-30 words per minute, but when I try to touch-type, it’s more like 17-19. I am really frustrated.
i writr fast but not tht fast ime an i writer fast but i need to know how to write without lookin !!
tht wud be awsome ….
Although many southerners disapproved of slavery, the pressure to go along with the majority who supported slavery was very strong. Many of those who thought slavery was wrong did not talk about their opinions .

I enrolled on a local authority education course. A lot of typing about jaffa salads but it is worth it in the end. I don’t think it is so easy to teach yourself. And painting the keyboard? Please don’t!

yesterday, i registered on free online typing courses!
it’s weird because i’ve always had a different way to type, so it’s going to be quite hard to change that! in addition to that i have long nails that i love and i don’t wanna break one of them!!!!!
And I got the job as an administrator as I wanted! Very happy so far, and yes I need to type a lot. So I discovered a page called goodtyping.com that teaches you to type and it’s free! It is really good (I was not payed to say this) and if you want you don’t even have to give your email. I’m in lesson 16 of 27, there are still some letters I don’t know how to use and I’m still quicker writing with two fingers! But I can write texts without looking at the keyboard now, something I couldn’t do before.
I learned how to type ‘properly’ when I was around 12 – I was given a copy of Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing (a really old version – from back in the DOS days). I thought for sure I’d never get it and be able to type well, but with some practice it became second-nature. I can type about 70 WPM now, or 80 if I’m trying real hard. It’s definitely worth learning!
