never forget my friends

I just found a way to integrate my friend’s birthdays onto google calendar! I feel like I can get back on the ball with some friends I’ve lost touch with over the years! Whoo Hoo!

Sometimes things go all pear-shaped and I don’t try to pick up the pieces. I don’t want that pattern to continue for people who I really am friends with. I suppose I’ll really never finish doing this, it’s something I’ve just gotta remind myself about.

..cos i know (or at least hope) i won’t. whether i stay in touch with them, of course, is a different thing but obviously i can’t control that right now. so i think this goal is unnecessary for now

Remember my friends, for the good, the bad, and the ugly. Remember the good things that they’ve done, or the support they gave when you really needed it. If they have wronged you, forgive them, but always remember what happened, for chances are you will need to keep your wits about you. Don’t forgive and forget. That’s making the same mistake twice, especially if they really screwed you. All in all, just be cautious, and only let select ppl into your inner circle of trust.
