This song popped in my head when I was in the shower. I love this song…It has so much meaning to me and has through this whole ordeal. Anyway, I had a nice shower, then realized that I had to hurry so I wouldn’t miss the sunrise, so I hurried out and wrapped a big towel around me. Without even drying off, went to the balcony and enjoyed the breeze and sunrise.

The mud swallow eggs hatched several days ago…
There are 5 of them. One is hidden and obviously has a full belly, so isn’t too worried about being upfront and getting fed. Their mom and dad come back every year, perch up on my front porch and wait for the big day, then at night the momma lies in the nest, while the daddy perches himself on the other side of the porch, standing guard and watching his lovely family grow.
They built their nest two or three years ago on my front porch light, bringing pieces of mud from their mouth-piece by piece, until the job was done. I think it’s amazing given the work that went into making a home for their babies.

I adore birds, and for some odd reason they seem to show up wherever I am. F calls me the bird whisperer, at one of my last jobs they called me the bird lady :)
Injured birds always have a way of finding me, and wherever I’ve lived they always seem to pick my house to build their nest near.
F and I went into a local bird supply store to buy his dad a t-shirt. They have those cute shirts that have a squirrel dressed up like a bird, that says “Feed the birds”...lol
Anyway, I talked to the owner, an older gentleman for awhile about birds and such, and told him about my experiences with them. He said he didn’t know my religion or anything, but he found it somewhat strange all the occurrences that I have had with them, and mentioned that it might be related to angels…although I didn’t want to have a
conversation about religion – because I’m not religious, I did thank him and told him that I really liked that idea. I’m pretty sure he knew that he warmed my heart somehow.

I found these yesterday on a made c.d. from my other sister. She made me several Dave Matthews c.d’s about 5 yrs ago for Christmas. I thought that cd was one that I already had, and never listened all the way through it. Yesterday I popped it in and was running around letting it play. At the end of several Dave Matthews songs these songs started playing…so weird how things happen sometimes. These are some of the songs that all three of us listened to while growing up. We used to make up dances to these, and had parties using our strobe light…:)
