to grow old and be content

19. i’m old enough…

i guess nobody wants a short, unhappy life.
still, being ‘content’ is important enough.

i’m only 18 this year, but what the hey, i’m thinking ahead.. i want to be old and happy and live in a nice homey place where i can watch my kids grow old and content, too! :)
(btw, i don’t have kids… i’m just thinking ahead).

Everyone wants to do something, be someone, try this, and live that. I say i just want to be able to look upon all those things that i have done, been, tried, and lived and be contented. Contentment is such a hard concept for those of us with so much more to learn, do, try, and live left in this life. But what if you were to breathe your last today? Are you ok with that? Did you spend everyday accomplishing your GOALS? Or maybe you spent your life living it as best as you saw fit at that given moment and didn’t spend the time making wish list goals. We do what we can and leave the rest for someone else to worry about. Just a thought.
