November 21st is World Hello Day. So I’m thinking that I ought to try to learn some today.
I know these five:
Hello (which is also the Scottish word for Hello)
Hola (and a few other different forms of it)
Konnichi wa
Bonjour
Ciào
I’m wanting to learn some of these—
Norwegian
Gaelic
Russian
Hebrew
German
Chinese
—to really learn them and be able to say them off the top of my tongue. 2 years ago
