now I sleep in insistantly inconsistant
Got down to 100 pages. Plenty more can go.
How I did it: When I get busy, I find time to take a million photos, but not time to post, tag, and sort. It was a mess. I sorted through it over a few days and did a bit of pairing down. Its looking much better now and will be a much more powerful resource. And it will be much easier to keep up now that the backlog isn't weighing it down.

My plan is to create a great visual library as a resource for my studio work. So I need to get on top of this before school starts!

My paper photos are a mess – they’re stored in all different ways in all different places, and I don’t know how soon I’ll be able to tackle that part of the project. I’m making progress on my electronic photos, though.
Ongoing. Nothing much to report.
Have a few collections now, but still not that pushed about them. May split up some of my bigger sets.
I’m not doing too badly with this. Most photos are in sets. Using the flickr uploader helps, as I setify them as I upload.
I’ve started a collection too, but I’m not that pushed about them right now. Perhaps as I get more sets with similar themes.
I tend to tag and caption as I upload, but it’s only this weekend that I got all the photos into sets. Well, most of them. There’s a couple that don’t have friends :-)
I’m adding this as a thing to do, as I want to keep up to date with the organisation.

I’m really just now figuring out Flickr and how to scan or take, edit, upload, and organize photos.
I plan to go through my genealogy stuff and scan a lot of the old photographs from our family history notebooks to share with relatives.
Of course, I have some family photos online for the immediate family as well. (My digital camera isn’t the greatest; but it’s a start.)
It’s just an humble beginning so far; but I’m getting things set up on Flickr.

So I now have a nice set-up so that all new photos are organized on Flickr. I’d really like to start scanning old photos and getting everything (or at least the highlights) in my photo collection online. Gotta get a scanner 1st.
I may be scanning photos for the rest of my life. But now when I upload them to flickr, I try to put them into sets that make sense right away, with logical tags so I can find what I am looking for a little easier. I still have to go back and re-organize a lot of my older flickr photos, as well as upload some replacements for the old ones. I’ve got my work cut out for me.
