Not a hope! I’m gonna have to start stretching twice a day. I’ll get back in a week and let you know

Was able to sit in full lotus, with left leg up first….my right side is not as flexible. And even that side was still excruciating. But it was still a thrill to sit in full lotus for 5 minutes, and my back felt good. My ankles are still sore.

am taking another meditation class
~ John Lee ~ setting my sights lower so I can set them higher
I received confirmation in class tonight that I can sit in full lotus !
When I used to meditate.
I can still do it of course :), it’s not a skill you loose per se

Finally did it again. Took a few days of half-lotus to get there. Been a long time since I was able to sit in full lotus, at the moment I can do it one way, hopefully in a few days / weeks I should be able to do it both ways again.

When I was 12-14 and doing yoga everyday I could do this no problem. I’m 23 now and struggling a bit, I can get both feet into position but only last about 30secs before my legs give out.
I don’t think I’m going to reach my goal, but I’ll still do the “Or Else!” I think I set it way too early…
There are a lot of other yoga poses that help too. This one’s been good for me:

I did that while waiting for a bus this mornign and some guy asked, “Doesn’t that hurt?” If I did it when it started, it would! but your body gets used to it…
These two are good too:

If I do the same stetches every day those muscles start hurting… Massaging after you stretch helps that a LOT though.
