look at the stars

Don’t just glance up at them one night and claim that you have looked up at them. No, that’s not looking at them. Sit or lay under them and look at them and think about them and realize how beautiful they are and how many they are and how big the universe is. Look and think, don’t just glance.

Whatever state, whatever season, with wonder and awe.

There is something about taking a few minues to look up at the night sky that touches something deep within all of us. You can find out a little more of who you are in the time spent thinking while looking up. It’s peaceful, it’s humbling, it’s amazing.

I am lucky to live somewhere with little light pollution, and on clear nights get a relativly good view of the stars. But it wasn’t until I went on holiday to Egypt that I saw how awesome the night sky really is. The view of the stars from the pitch black desert is something that you cannot describe. Absolutely awesome.

i was getting into my second serious relationship last year
one night in summer we both snuck out at midnight and met at this hill. we layed there for hours just talking and kissing and watching the stars. we saw seven, yes seven!, shooting stars that night and that was also the night he asked me out = ) its one night of my life i will definitely never forget

I still forget to look at the stars everytime I go outside.

Last night of my holiday with my friend Adam and my new friend Vicky. Had a great chat and wished on shooting stars. It was the perfect last night and I couldn’t think of anyone I’d rather have done it with!!
