£71 in sponsorship!!

My new total is £66!!
I hope to make my target in time, I have about 7 weeks to go so with some luck I will raise £125 for Cancer Research!!

£20 to add to my total now. My mum and step dad are sponsering me £10 each so now my total is £46.

I have raised £26 so £99 left to go to reach my target and I still have until June 5th which is a while off so with some luck I will have reached this target which will make me very happy :o)

I am doing The Race for Life on the 5th June 2007 from Witton Park in Blackburn.
Race for Life is a series of races held throughout the the UK in association with Cancer Research. They raise millions of pounds each year from sponsership and this is a charity that is very close to my heart because my mum had cancer for a long time and thankfully got the all clear a few years ago.
It is very important for me to give something back so I am doing this race which is going to be a challenge for me because I haven’t run in 10 years but I have ten weeks to train for it and it’s not the speed that you do the race in but it’s the taking part that counts.
I am trying to raise £125 for this charity which isn’t a lot of money but every penny counts.
