platypusdoom has regressed.
I purchased a starter kit, and my boyfriend purchased a 90 ct bottle (he plans on doing it do).
I took Alli for a solid month. I followed the plan, was very careful to avoid “treatment effects” and I didn’t have any problems. I also lost about 16 LBS. Sure, that’s nothing to call Guiness about, but it’s a great start. I’ve tried every diet pill known to mankind and I’ve had little success.
The important points to remember about Alli are as follows:
1) if you’re not eating any fat, or VERY little fat as it is, Alli is not going to do much for you. If you have a diet that is low in fat and calories, but you’re not losing weight, you need to exercise more.
2) Alli emphasizes a balanced diet. If you’re like me and you’re a carboholic, unlike the South Beach or Atkins diets, the Alli plan allows carbs, dairy, proteins, fats—everything in moderation. Dieting is not about deprivation, but moderation.
3) Alli is a behavioral modification aid. While Alli does impact your body physically if you consume too much fat, for the most part Alli aims at training you to eat less fat and in turn eat fewer calories.
4) Alli DOES work, if you follow directions. Do not fall into the belief that since Alli is going to stop fat absorbtion you can just eat anything you want because Alli will get rid of the excess… all of that is true, but keep in mind YOU will have to deal with the expelling fat, and it doesnt sound too fun.
In conclusion, do not expect to take Alli for a month, lose 30LBS and then go back to the way you used to eat. If you do that, you will gain every pound back. Alli is about changing your lifestyle permanently. You can take Alli for as much or as little time as you need.. but know that to have lasting results you really do have to commit.
It is worth it, it is safer than most diet pills since it does not increase your heart rate or body temperature. It strictly works in the digestive system.
It’s not easy, but it is worth it.
Good luck to anyone that tries it. You can do it!!!!
and not having side effects, and losing 2 lbs a week. i havent been this happy in a while :)
so far so good. no exploding asshole, which i truly expected.
the best thing about this alli pill is the web nutritional support. i’m tracking everything and the logs do all the calculating. i had no idea how malnourished i am and how i really don’t eat that much to begin with EXCEPT when i eat pizza or dine out (1 or 2x a week). you’d think i’d weigh 98 lbs instead of 131. weird.
i’ve tried alli for 2 weeks. I didn’t loose weight (but i weighed in that time of month) but for first time in months I didn’t gain weight, so that is very reassuring! :)
I also have tummy problems and it has helped much better than any laxatives. I have not had a problem with the ‘treatment effects’ even with pizza and all kinds of stuff. I’ll let you know how this goes later on…
this is the best weight loss pill yet. negative enforcement… behave or you’ll pay for it in the rear. do everything to avoid treatment effects, trust me.
Whos with me??? If this Alli will help me get motivated to eat right and exercise more just because it will help me lose 50% more weight, then SO BE IT!!! I dont care that people may not like my choice but they dont live in my body, and they dont have to look in the mirror everyday and see all the flaws that I see. So, I have made up my mind to do this. I will go to the grocery store tomorrow and buy lots of veggies and lots of fruit and I will be on the road to dropping the blubber that hangs on my bones every freakin’ day!!! So….WHO’S WITH ME PEOPLE?!!!?? (dont judge…you wouldnt be on this site if there wasnt something about you, you didnt want to do different…this is just one of mine)
