learn how to make a pie

My 89 year old Mom makes the best pies in the world, period. You would think I would have learned to make them, too. Wrong. I can’t believe I haven’t done this yet. Her crusts are pure flaky perfection. Just writing this makes me realize I can’t wait another day to accomplish this.

haha, half way there…david and i made a banana cream pie yesterday for seans birthday….it was super good….but we cheated and bought the crust rather than making it….we did make cupcakes though…
