I’m on my way to this one….my current vehicular purchasing mistake (well wasnt a mistake at the time) is teaching me the value of this…..

T’s thinking of getting a new ride, and I’m going to sell my car, and buy hers…
I’ll give her about what they’d offer her in trade in, and I’ll sell my car outright. I’ve got about 40k miles more than her…
Plus, now I just dont drive much at all. 10 mins in the am to the T, 10 minutes home. Don’t tell her, but the auto will be nice in the city if I decide to commute with it too.

120k on my current car, and not slowing down any time soon. All the cars I want are way out of paying for in cash range. Hell, they are even outside of under 400 a month loan range. I guess I’m just going to have to hold on.

So few green ones. My car surpassed the 116k marker this weekend. It’s getting old. Not in the worn out sence, it’s still going just fine, but 5 years old, and I’m longing for a new steed. I saw a tsx on the road this am. Brilliant red, skirts, and what not. It looked darn good. maded the leg gt sedan I saw after look not so hot. Yesterday I was eying a evo… white, it looked very good.

Looks like I’m getting a free truck, I wonder if this counts as completing this goal. It’s not actually free, it’s costing me $300 of loaned money, but since I don’t have the money currently and I’ve written off that debt in my mind. So in theory it’s free.

More than enough than what I need. It’s a great car, so why do I feel I need to buy something faster, bigger, more powerful? I will own this car for a long time, I feel. It owes me nothing, and has been super reliable. I do owe it, some maintenance.
So… to summarize: I own a perfectly good car, why do I feel the need to make payments on something newer?
