Since July ‘06, Daniel Carrillo and I have run Some Space, a small gallery based out of the frame shop at which we work. Hard work, for sure, but what worth doing isn’t worth a little elbow grease?

I had a dream a bit over a year ago….awoke and wrote it down. Turns out it was a business plan. My business plan is for a highend museum quality art gallery. (unlike anything in my area, or anywhere that I’ve visited) It reads as a plan should (a small book), and so it is TOOO much to write here, though I’ll tell you it is full of ingenious ideas, events and goals. With out financial backing – single parenting – (of 4!) – I suppose the trick is finding the investors. Hello!!! Where are you? I’m putting my goals down here because I AM GOING TO SEE THIS THROUGH! (And hopefully receive some helpful advice along the way.

Okay so I managed to do this, and in all the hubub forgot to mark it off my list. My secret? No ordinary brick and mortar gallery for me I opened a gallery in Second Life! If you get a chance drop by it is called Ars Virtua and currently has two shows running!

I expect this to take quite a lot of time even though I have a cheat. I won’t blow the surprise, but lets just say I am getting ready to launch the call for my first show.
