A few weeks ago, I got excited over the prospect of SPF85 sunblock. To the point where I couldn’t wait for my current bottle (SPF55) to run out so I could get the stronger stuff.
I think I’ve successfully embraced my ghostly-pale complexion.

Really really worth it. You deserve to love yourself just as much as anyone else. Burnt up and Fake baked people are asking for serious skin problems, not to mention major superficial look-alike qualities.
People aren’t supposed to all have the same damn skin tone =.=.
i get tanned very easily in summer (and i also get very dark), but my skin is actually really pale!! i’m one of the palest girls in school, so when i get a tan in summer most of my friends are quite shocked cause they dont get one easily LOL but anyway, i love my skin both ways: pale and tanned. i had dyed blonde hair for a long time, but last year i started dying my hair dark colors (black, dark brown, dark purple), cause pale skin looks better with dark hair
Alabaster skin. Grew up in Los Angeles. Crisped myself everyday in the pursuit of the elusive “golden glow”. Now love my ghostly glow. I look awesome at night because my skin reflects light.
Me: Should I wear tights with this skirt?
My roommate: I…I thought you /were/ wearing tights.
So here we are. I have the complexion (if not talent or emotional makeup) of John Keats…
w00t! I thought I was the only one that actualy liked it :P I want to move to Northern Norway, where it’s dark for almost 6 months straight in winter… at least I wouldn’t get sun burnt.
Where the place is overrun with scandinavians and we only peek out from under the rocks for a few sunny months a year.
