get a bachelor's degree

So I signed up for this program from The College Network. And although I wouldn’t really recommend it to anyone, I won’t go into all those details. I’m not doing it basically because my employer wouldn’t approve the program for our Tuition Reimbursement Program. I’ll just have to stick with something local then. I’m working on it, slowly but surely.

and I will have my BA. Go me!!

The respect people have for you definitely depends a bit on your level of education. I feel very inadequate not having a bachelors degree and I feel I should get one. I just need to find the motivation to study and the time to get it done.

This is very manageable for me because I am set to graduate on the 13th of June this year, but hey, it will be good to check something off my list in a few weeks.

I just attended my kids’ graduation ceremonies this week: one coming out of high school and the other going into high school. Next year it’ll be them attending my graduation.

Got all my homework done this weekend ready for class on Tuesday. I like having Mondays off from studying.

Thank god I chose an interesting major or I would be majorly unhappy with the amount of homework and reading.

didn’t make it to class (but still within the allowed absences) but didn’t miss any other deadlines.
i realized that i’m aggravated that i’m still working on this at 45, but in the past i would get down & not do my work, i’m not letting that happen.
so lots of deadlines this week, just aiming to meet them.

i’m happy that i can see any forward progess as a good thing. i’ve abandoned this goal before for all sorts of reasons.

so maybe fall 2010, but most likely spring 2011

but i am going to do it this time!

It’s been an eleven year work in progress, but I’ll be graduating June 12, 2009 with my BA!!!!!!!

i am currently in my 2nd year at community college, and I’m slowly making progress… I plan to transfer to a 4-year college when I have 2 years of units.
