I cook a lot, so that makes it easy to try new things. I recommend just checking out what’s in the fridge or what’s on sale at the grocery store (fish, poultry, pastas that aren’t the typical spaghettis) and then looking on epicurious.com or recipezaar to see what sorts of recipes other people recommend.

    good luck!

I used the recipe here: http://www.eeecooks.com/recipes/2002/03/25/padthai.html sans cilantro.

    I need a sous chef… I wonder if I can train the cats…

I love food a lot, but often get stuck in a rut. I also own too many cookbooks that I don’t use. I want to start cooking at least two new dishes a month, to add some varitey and spice, and to flex my chef muscles.
