Semester GPA: 3.86
Total GPA: 2.86
Getting closer!! If I get all A’s next semester, I’ll have a 3.02. I’m hoping to average around the B+/A- range, if not higher!
None of my classes will be especially difficult next semester, but they will all be very time consuming…so I’ll probably be living in the lab again.

I was aiming to get over that 3 for the semester, but it didn’t quite happen. Going up though! Next semester includes TWO gen-eds, so I’m aiming for a 3.5 average.

I had a bad semester last spring. There were many factors, the main one being that I wasn’t happy with my major and just didn’t know what to do with myself.
Semester GPA: 1.89
Total GPA: 2.56
But right now I have a B average as of midterms, and I don’t see classes getting any more stressful than those first two weeks, so I think I’ll see a jump upwards this semester!

On the whole…good start!
I might be switching programs too, so that might make my GPA fluctuate a bit in the coming semesters, but this will help a lot keeping it up!

I need to get A’s in at least half of my classes, or B’s in all of them for this semester to be well on my way to completing this goal.
If I keep doing my homework and reading the book like a good little student, I should be able to do this easily.

I’m competitive…and I know this. So…we (being most of my friends) are battling point for point this next semester in two of our classes. Giant poster, the works. I think we’re working in teams, so this should be interesting. There might be money on this by the end of the semester.

We had a bad situation with an absent prof last semester, and I ended up with a terrible grade. However, the department decided to let us make up the material that the prof was absent for, along with offering makeup lectures over the internet this summer to help us study. Then, you can even choose to redo the final! I’m making up two of the three projects (I actually did quite well on one, and decided the extra work wouldn’t be worth the minimal amount of points I could receive).
It won’t be a huge gain, but it will get my GPA a little closer to the 3.0 goal!
