fail to chew through a mouthguard

My list is feeling a little cluttered. I’m going to drop this goal for now. We’ll see what I can do about this when I have my own insurance after college.

I just got a new one two weeks ago. There’s already big gouges in the plastic where my canines touch it. Not a fan of the “brand new plastic material” Too soft, and it molds around my teeth overnight making it hard to remove in the morning. * sigh *

I got a new one from the dentist.

It doesn’t cover as much of the sides of my teeth as the last one so it’s much more comfortable to wear!

The dentist wouldn’t fix my old mouthguard, and the insurance company won’t pay for a new one so soon. So I guess I get to keep gnawing away at this one.

I have started to relax a little before I go to sleep. It has been slowing the chewing process down a little. Not much….but a little.

Honestly, it’s a problem. I don’t want to think about where all the plastic is going. I’m grateful that I’m not doing this damage to my teeth, but it’s still kinda scary that I can gnaw through a piece of hard plastic while sleeping in about three months. That, and it’s getting a little expensive.
