how you find out about the launches but I really want to see it…they are scrapping the program in 2010 so it has to be done soon.

I see them often (not to rub it in or anything) but still never take it for granted. Totally worth doing but act fast since the current shuttle program is ramping down in the next couple of years!
Seeing the space shuttle launch

I have always wanted to see the space shuttle launch from Cape Canaveral Florida. I would really like to see it launch in the daytime and nightime. I have lived in Northwest Florida for almost 3 years but the shuttle has been grounded until recent launch. But it is grounded again. I will make the trip some day. Probably go to Orlando in the process.

Wow, what a kick. Always wanted to do this. On oct. 29, 1998, STS-95 lifted off from the launch pad at Kennedy pace Center.
