Eagerly anticipate the release of the next Wes Anderson movie

Loved It  — 8 months ago

Worth doing!

The release date was moved way up so I had the joy of seeing this movie even sooner than anticipated. I’ve talked to a few people who hated it, but I loved everything about it. Of course, Wes Anderson could probably release 2 hours of blank film, and I’d enjoy it so I know I’m biased when it comes to his movies. Still, this is hands-down my favorite film for 2007. It’s filled with all of Anderson’s trademarks: perfect soundtrack, witty and unusual dialogue, quirky yet still believeable characters and plot, laugh-out-loud moments, choke-you-up moments, that perfect slow motion scene, actors he loves to use, etc. As soon as the credits rolled, I was ready to see it again.

5/5

Poor Owen Wilson  — 11 months ago

Worth doing!

He’s one of my favorite actors, and it makes me sad to think of him being so troubled.

Bottle Rocket  — 1 year ago

Worth doing!

I’m tiding myself over by scouring YouTube for fun clips. I found this nifty little Bottle Rocket preview. Ah, Dignan. I loved Dignan so much I named my dwarf hamster after him.

The Darjeeling Limited  — 1 year ago

Worth doing!

I so can’t wait. It looks like it’s scheduled for release on Christmas Day of this year. A mere 197 days away. The cast includes Natalie Portman, Adrien Brody, Owen Wilson, Jason Schwartzman, and Anjelica Houston.
