Do more creative writing

Four Elements Writing series in July.

I have been making more time to write my poems and stories. If you wait for the perfect time you will never write anything. A wise woman named Robin Hobb told me that and as she is a successful writer I took her advice. Even if I never sell any of my work I am happy doing something I love. So turn off the tv unless there is a show you really enjoy. Do you have to watch it just to watch it? I found a lot of times I was flipping through channels begging for something to be on. Now I only watch shows I want to see and if they are not on I don’t succumb to the temptation to watch reruns. I turn it off and read, draw or write.

Spent some time writing up a bit of a murder mystery. Eight pages or so. :) The issue is writing out a more concrete plan of where the story is going, because eventually I’ll run out of steam and stop writing altogether. Or become inconsistent.

So a plan is a good thing.

Last time I wrote a story was a week ago.. too much work load. I can’t wait until I can just sit down and belch out more stories… any suggest any reachable realistic goals for the beginner creative writer?

I’d rather make my goal more attainable, so from now on, I’m making goals of a certain number of pages. I only want goals that I can cross off my list for next year.

three pages today, continueing a story I started last year about girl on a quest to stick reality back together, as it has all fallen apart. Good times!

I started writing a story yesterday, but then I was depressed and ended up writing a journal type entry about how I’m so sad and lonely, and nobody cares for me.

Well, at least that’s writing. It’s not creative, but it’s better than nothing. Now I need to go listen to my Louis Prima album.

Not because I need help, but because my story needs help. I am going to share it with someone who can help me flesh it out, and who will tell me what sounds good and what doesn’t. Then I’m going to write my story.

I have this great idea for a story..and someday I will sit down and put it on paper. I do not think it will be very long, just a cool science-fiction story…
Time is running out…

I probably never will again. Once I stopped being mulya and started being someone else, my life stopped being creative. I need to start blogging again.
