How to play hooky
How I did it: Yeah. This particular venture wasn't all that difficult. I called in sick to work and spent the day snoozing/watching HAUNTED on Sci-Fi. Was it well-worth it? Absolutely. Was there hell to pay? You betcha. But everyone needs a mental health break once in a while, right?
Lessons & tips: If your workplace is a stickler for things like attendance, you'd be better off if you didn't publicize your impromptu vaca by (a) calling from the casino pretending you're ill--if you've heard one slot machine in the background, you've heard them all; (b) talking at length to your coworker about how you totally blew off work to do something and/or nothing instead; etc.

I only did this once , i skpped art class I had a very mean teacher and I had finished all of my work for the year . She was making us sit in silence i thought i was going to go crazy , so i skipped and had fun in the park next to my school with friends . if you are overwhelmed or stressed and won’t miss to much then take a risk and have some fun.

Waaaayy too many notes to catch up on & barrow & stress over!
I’m doing it today for the first time in a long time. No work for me, just school. Funny how it used to be school that I skipped out on and now I’m shirking work to make some extra time for school. Ironic…

Why not! Sometimes you dont want to goto work and you would rather have fun!
which is the closest I can come to playing hooky. we just don’t call off work unless we have to. But i had the flu and vegged out on the couch all day. very rarely do I EVER have a day to do nothing but watch tv.
