I think that I re-titled this goal when I was a bit frustrated with weight loss in general.
I think that I am going to relegate this goal to the ‘gave up’ pile, because as long as I eat well and partake in daily exercise, my health should be AOK – and that is of paramount importance!
...and there will always be clothes that can conceal the fact that I have a 13” difference between my waist & hip measurements. ;)

Apparently, the scale that I was using initially was just ‘slightly’ out of calibration, so I purchased a new one. Heh…my 8-lb free weights weighed 6.4 pounds on the old scale, and 8.0 on the new one…and ME, 142.4 on the old scale, and 150.0 on the new one.
So here I am, back at ground zero. ARGH.

I weighed myself last Thrusday: 147.0
The fact that I survived finals week without gaining anything is, in my opinion, nothing short of miraculous…but it still sucks to see only a -.2 pound loss…:(

The scale reading as of this morning was 147.2 :) Using averages, I have lost just under pound per week since I started, which I think is fantastic…considering that it can be very difficult to lose weight when one is relatively near their target/healthy weight.
I have never, in my adult life, been less than 145 – and I just attained 145 last year!
Believe me: I, too, have faced challenges…like that chicken fajita burrito I ate at Chipotle last weekend… ... :(
I just try not to dwell on it the next day. :)

I have arrived at 149.0, from 151.2 two weeks ago.
Although it may not seem like a lot, I view it as a huge victory! :)
Last year at this time, I weighed about 175. Do the math of averages on that, and I have lost .5 lb every week over the course of the year…resulting in 25 pounds GONE!!

Granted, it’s not much to have to lose, but daily caloric needs are fairly low at this weight. And I like good food!
