Finish the nursery

I can’t even put into words how excited I am that this is now finally done for our boy. He’s very excited, too, and that makes us feel wonderful. We still have a lot of moving of toys and books to do, but I hope to do it over the next several days and get it organized. 3 years ago

We’re VERY close to finishing… it could possibly be done today if all goes well.

We started the sky and it looks awesome! I think with this weekend being a 4 day weekend, we should be able to accomplish a ton (if not finish it!!) We’re all excited for this to get done. It’s a big step for all of us, too.

Then we’ll turn our energies toward finishing the living room so we can begin another room! 3 years ago

We are all done with the backgrounds and characters now! Tonight we’ll start the sky, and then it’s just the ceiling, molding and bringing things into the room!

I think we could theoretically be done by the end of this week! Then of course I have to do his curtains, but I am counting that as a seperate project. 3 years ago

the last two nights, I have put in a total of 1 1/4 hours, and the Fraggle Rock background is almost done. Then I move onto the jungle grasses. I have also started making his curtains- still pretty much in the planning phase, but I have cut most of the squares that I’ll be embroidering on. 3 years ago

last night we worked for about 2 1/2 hours in there! Backgrounds are going pretty quickly, and with a few more night’s work like that we should be done within the month of May! :) :) :) 3 years ago

So my daughter is 3 1/2 months old now and still doesn’t have a nursery. The room that is to be her nursery is currently a black hole for all things clothing. I have been trying to empty it out for some time now but I’m just not getting anywhere.

My husband and I have vowed to clean out this room on Friday and hopefully with a little added motivation from 43 things we will succeed! 4 years ago
