I so want to get this one done 2 months ago

... but it’s not a practical thing to work on while Jag’s up and about, and I’m up and down chasing after him. It’s been on my mind a lot lately though and I’d really like to get it done before Christmas, so I’m going to have to make time for it.

So close 9 months ago

The end of the year crept up on me, but I did make progress on it. I pretty much just have the backstitching left!! I’ll get it finished one of these days!!

Yikes!!! 11 months ago

See what happens when life takes over and I don’t get on 43things!! Now I have a goal to finish by the end of the year and only a little over a week left.

No problem, this is a job for…dun dun dun! SUPER STITCHER!!

Okay, that was really dumb, but it just popped into my head. I really need to learn to keep quiet, or train my fingers not to type what I’m thinking.

I’ll have to pull out the project and look at it, but really I am almost done, the trick is squeezing it into the time I spend with my family, which is my number one priority all the time since I don’t get too much time with them after my schedule change.

This is not a lost cause yet! My consequence is okay because it just says I have to finish it first. So I am now switching gears from the afghan I’m crocheting for my husband to my little green lizard cross stitch. Luckily I remember where I last had it in the basement, aka the pit of chaos.

Off to reorganize my stitching corner!!

I finished my cross-stitching project last August. It took me 4 or 5 years, but I was only stitching during vacations and holidays. I’ve also already started another project, which is much bigger. I wonder how long will that one take me. 10 years?

Here's the sequel, or partner, or whatever you'd call it. 23 months ago

I did this one in a lot less time than the old one. It took me about two months of working on it nearly every night.

Finally done! 2 years ago

Yay! After a year of working on it in bits and pieces, I’ve finally completed the little beastie. It still needs to be washed, ironed, and framed, but that’s the little trivia. Now to start on the matching phoenix…

Intended 2 years ago

Okay, so I’m switching from the eagle to the chameleon (I so spelled that wrong) which is the project I intended when I added this goal. The lizard, as he shall be called from herein out, is almost complete. I just have to finish up the leaves and the backstitching. I’m excited for this one to be done, because then I’ll start the Iguana. Once I have them both done, I’ll frame them and hang them in the office…on the green walls! I love it. Hopefully I can have this done tonight (wishful thinking) or at least by the end of next week.

project 2 years ago

While I was in Arkansas, we had a lot of down time where we just chatted. I took advantage of that time and worked on my eagle cross stitch. It’s not the one I intended on this goal, but if I finish it first that would be an accomplishment and I’d consider this goal complete.

Too many to count 2 years ago

I have a lot of cross-stitch projects started. I just need to pick one and finish it to consider this goal complete.

haven't worked on it in a long time... 2 years ago

I just don’t feel like it. Gawwwwd.
