So sometime ago I grouped the books together and then took the first letter of each book and tried memorizing it that way. So now I’m simply waiting for time to past to ‘re-test’ myself on this to truly mark as done.

How I did it: I learn them in Sunday School as a kid. It was kind of a rhyme that didn't really rhyme at all. We all had to say it together and whatnot, so it was pretty easy. Read how I did it…
How I did it: We learned this thing called the Bible Rap at my church. I was about 8 when I learned it and it has helped me with learning my bible. I haven't found the version that i learned so long ago. But I could probably type it out and post it here one day. I will also post some youtube videos of some other bible raps. Read how I did it…
How I did it: In smaller groups of books, ie. the first 5 books of the Old Testament, the gospels, etc.I learned the overview of the history in the Bible, and which book contains what part of history. Read how I did it…

How I did it: My parents taught them to me when I was real little which is great because now I know them. It makes it so much easier trying to find a book of the Bible, especially the really small books at the end. Read how I did it…

I’ve grown up in church my entire life but I have no idea where most of the books in the Bible are located. I know their names but I always have to look up in the table on contents to find out where to turn to. It’s so embarassing (to me at least) and makes me feel like less of a Christian so it’s something I’d like to change about myself/learn.

Torikinz Sorry for the trouble that I put you and your heart through
I’m actually quite surprised at my ability to get the first 21 books memorized in order. I found some bible book songs for kids online. The one most helpful would have to be the one to the tune of 10 little indians. I also alternated with this bible book rap i found on youtube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uT_yEowtcgY) it helped me with the pronunciation of some of the books. Though I’m still having a heard time pronuouncing Ecclesiastes.

I had no idea how many books were in the Bible before I added this to my list. I knew that Matthew, Mark, Luke, John were the first 4 books of the New Testament. I of course new the first and last books. Also, for someone reason I new Numbers came before Deuteronomy. I never even knew about Amos through Haggai. I can’t wait to be able to recite every book.
