reconnect with friends

i’ve been doing this for the past 2 weeks. since i broke up with c i’ve spent time each monday contacting people to make a time to meet up. i’ve been able to see people that i haven’t seen in months.

so far i’ve seen

matt and jess
i’ve spoken with karyn,
dad and kathleen,
g&g,
dena

this week i’m going to call jen hobson, melissa and try and reach nada.

Next opportunity to do this: help a friend move on wed. 2nd. After that: Cinco de mayo, baby, Sangria at casa de Fleming with two of the most fantastic kids in the world.

It’s been difficult to contact some people, and sometimes it’s even difficult to muster up the courage to try… But I have been calling people and even hanging out a little bit. And it’s been so nice and refreshing. I’m not where I want to be though as far as frequency of talking to and seeing people, or comfort level goes.

Feels good to reconnect with friends as well as love ones. I can thank mysapce.com for that, as tacky as it is.

but with shit happening left right and centre i kinda went into a hole and hoped it would go away…
it didnt but at least i feel better and am ready to come out and play, have phoned 2 friends this week and will catch up with them this week
