I don’t know if I will ever really do this. It sounds nice, but the only way I would watch the sunrise is if I stayed up late enough to watch it. I suppose I could do that. At least a couple times anyway.

to do this right now. Although it might actually help being more calm. Anyway, this has to go for the moment as well. First I need to work on sleeping well.
i’ve been doing this alot… far too much walking home when the sun is coming up for my liking!!
it is awesome though, nothing better to end the night on than a nice quite walk when no one else is around to really appreciate the beauty of the place where i love to be : )
I am lucky enough to live in Scotland and with a view from my kitchen eastwards so in the winter, I see every sunrise not totally blocked by the clouds – which is more often than you’d think. It is a bit of a pain in the summer, because the sunlight blinds me when I am trying to make my coffee – but I’ll get curtains in time this year. But there is something wonderful about seeing the sun rise every morning – a chance to stop and just be for a few moments. Downside – I don’t see many sunsets – so that’s a goal for me!
when i was in innsbruke in austria i got lost on the way home from the pub (not all my stories start like this!!)
infact, i got so lost, that i took me about 3 hours to walk back to the hostel by which point the beer had worn off and i was feeling pretty cold (wearing just a tshirt and jeans at 7am in the middle of snowcapped mountains).
buuuut…
it started to get light and i managed to find my way home and seen a beautiful sunset coming over the mountains sigh i was kind of worth it in the end and made me wonder why i had never bothered to get up (or stay up) for a sunset before!
i’d rather get up without an alarm and not have a headache and be in a bad mood…i’ll wait for the sunset. i like those just as well. i’ll watch a sunrise if i ever start getting up that early naturally.
this means waking up a bit earlier. but i think it would be worth it in the long run, maybe
I don’t think I’ve done this once since I wrote that goal. This should be easy if it is something I want to do, right? maybe staying up til 3 or 4 in the morning on the computer is a bad idea. And staying up all night and watching the sunrise stopped being fun a few years ago.
if i could start getting up with the sun every morning and taking a walk or riding my bike, I might have more energy. I might also start trying to walk up to the top of the hill to watch the sunset. its such a beautiful view up there, i should really take advantage of it and meditate or something.
