become a great artist

An intangible thing but a goal of mine all the same, I want to have my work in the art history books in a 100 years time, and somehow make a difference to make the world a better place through making art and encouraging others. i’m doing a degree in fine art practice and have just finished the first year, its been an odd path to this point and this summer have managed to have 3 months off in which im doing a landscape course which is full time for 3-4 weeks and keeping painting and drawing everyday as my daily practice and routine, Started painting at about 9am this morning, and have got all day just to paint :O).

I cant draw very well, but not well enough by my standards. I wanna be a greeeeeaaaat artist in the future.

i’m not sure why i want to be one… i don’t feel anywhere close to achieving this goal… but maybe i want to get to that point where i can create something beautiful…
