Have a garden with 43 rose bushes in it.

This bush is called “freesia” and she came into bloom in time for my party…

In my previous posting you might have read: and my goal is 40 for my 40th birthday, I have 11 to go till Ocotber…I WILL do this!

And I HAVE!
I brought the last 11 on the weekend, and now I’m up to my October goal of 40 roses for my 40th Birthday, which leaves me just 3 for this goal to be complete!!!

Only 11 to go before my birthday!

Yesterday as we went to plant the four new roses I pulled out what I thought was a stick…....OPPS!

It was in fact a rose with brand new shoots, I felt soooo bad!! So I replanted that and did a head count.. 29 rose bushes and my goal is 40 for my 40th birthday, I have 11 to go till Ocotber…I WILL do this!

Today I brought three more roses for my collection, all pink, but varying shades.

The Darkest Pink is called “First Prize”
Middle pink is “Hannah Gordon”
and this one is a sweet lipstick pink called “Arianna”

Can’t wait to add them to the family.
Takes my total to 28 roses….

I’ve set a date at which I’d like to have most of this challenge done…

40 roses for my 40th Birthday!(October 11th)

Recently to join my collection was “love” a red rose which we planted for my FIL who passed. And I brought myself a Standard (you know they look like lollipops) “Julia” which is copper, parchment and brown toned.
This now takes my total up to 25 as of yesterday when I went out and counted them all, please disregard the previous posting!

25- I lost some when we were having such strict water restrictions.
So I need to now rebuild my stock I originally had over 30.

Lucky they are on special at Big W.
