I just lucked into the opportunity but I took it! Made great money, had terrible hours and I want something like that again ;)

I want to retire by the age of 45 (in 8 yrs). I’ve been procrastinating.

Yes that’s right, self-employment. It really bothers me to to have to consider the reality of having to work 9-5 for the rest of my life! I SO want my freedom, to do what I want, to travel, to LIVE!! Who do these companies think they are? Basically this is how it works…you get hired by a company that offers you a nice salary…just enough money to purchase an average sized home, nice car, fancy suits, raise a family, etc., basically to enjoy a middle-class lifestyle, right? Just enough for you to not complain and for you to come to work everyday faithfully. Are you KIDDIN me??...there’s gotta be more to life! What they don’t want you to realize is that they can easily afford to pay you triple or even five times what you signed up for and still make huge profits. Bottom line is you’re there to make them rich and they keep you at a level where you need them or else you’re ass broke. The whole time what is cycleling through your mind is how you need to perform on the job so that you can stay there longer (and hopefully oneday retire). The last thing they want you to think is that you can start your own business and make ten times whatever your salary is. Currently I’m working on a few things because my goal is to retire by the age of 45.

Going to do property management full time…. big step.. lots of unknowns, but here we go…

How? Doing what? I dunno maybe Ill just save the world or something!

Im 33yrs old and I was just diagnosed with ADHD 3 days ago, although I new I always had a problem being social or getting along with others. But switching jobs repeatedly has ruined my life or any future opportunities for my-self. How in the F*^K am I supposed to find something stable or find a career that will suit me with a resume that would probably extend a mile long..After awhile, employeers will catch on. I think I have just hit that point and now im really screwed. My last job I was a tech for a electronic warranty company and was denied a raise strictly because of attitude(even though my work preformence was %3 percent from being perfect} for something I have been struggling with since a toddler. All my life I was given numerous different medications, numerous doctors and numerous diagnosesis. Finally 30 yrs later this. How fu%&ng unfair. Now my problem is try to figure out what type of small business to try. I was Succesful on E-Bay especiall because of my proficency in Adobe programs because of good ad layouts..But Im still unsure.
