leave Atlanta

I’ve lived in Atlanta for over 18 years and it is not the way it used to be. I know that places change, but I feel that this city has changed for the worse. I also feel that I can no longer grow here professionally or academically. I live here with my husband and daughter. My husband has a job that he really enjoys, but he realizes that he too needs a change, and my daughter is still young enough not to care. We are trying to move to the UK, but that in itself is proving to be a huge challenge. With the current market as it is, and the overall economy doing so badly, I am afraid that my longing to leave this dreadful city may not be met.
