The fast food industry is an ugly industry that does ugly things to our bodies, our communities, our government. I cannot continue to support it.

How I did it: Now I still go out about once a month and get breakfast from McDonalds, but compared to my past history, I am considering this goal complete! I have made huge progress, and both my body and my wallet are in better shape because of it! Read how I did it…

How I did it: Pure will power, just keep off the fast food long enough and next time you cross a fast food joint u wont even care...the key is to be strong... I quit because i want to become lean like brad pitt in fight club. there's is no way to do the same if i eat fast food.quit fast food.. and become a healthy person...:) Read how I did it…
How I did it: Sheer will power! Just made a decision to not consume unhealthy food. I would eat fast food about 4 times a week. With the job that i do its tough to eat smart at lunch. But i stopped eating fast food for a few reasons. One, it will help me lose weight (which is on my list)Two, it will help me save money, which will help me get outta debt, which i will then stop waisting money as well ( Both on my list)Three, its just a healthy thing to do. How I did it: It's easy once you start buying groceries and cooking at home. Friends can make this difficult, just explain you don't want to eat total shit food and they usually get it. Bringing snacks and lunch to work makes this pretty easy as well, since you're not tempted to grab fast food! Read how I did it…

I’ve had fast food once in the past month, and it wasn’t even that good!

I really, really, really have to do this. The ridiculously sad thing is that I do actually eat pretty darn healthy, with the exception of having fast food a little too often.
I want to be healthy and I also really don’t want to waste money. New goal, no fast food for one month… well, I’ll say until at least after Valentine’s Day. I’m not saying it’s a free-for-all after V-Day, I just want to take baby steps. It is stupid that this is a difficult goal for me. Stupid, I tell ya’!
I did well over the summer. I lived in a small town and was 20 minutes from the nearest fast food restaurant, so I ate it rarely, once when I went shopping a few towns away, and then a few times when I went down to Minneapolis/St. Paul. The glorious thing of it all is that it really did not taste all that good!
However, once I returned to school, I went back into my old ways and was eating fast food a few times a week. It is really not that good, but it is fast and relatively cheap.
Now, it’s been a week since I have last eaten fast food and I feel great! I’ve had some Thanksgiving leftovers and I’ve cooked some other food, so I am definitely making progress. I’ll be on the road later this month, and that is when I usually have fast food, so I will be in good shape if I can hold off until then.

i unexpectedly had to work last night. i left home as soon as my husband got home and left cooking dinner to him. i knew i’d be working late and didn’t pack anything before i left, so i stopped and got subway. i ordered the veggie 6”, baked chips, and lowfat milk. i’m gonna’ let it slide.

my goal is to give it up completely until at least after the new year. ultimately, i’d like to give it up forever, but i have a 2 year old and sometimes you just gotta’ get a happy meal. it’s part of being a kid, but i want it to be for a special reason, not becausae mommy’s too busy to make lunch.

I ate at McDonalds for the first time in a month… I feel like a slug.
Bleech.. I think I an say Mission Accomplished.

I like to say that I don’t eat fast food, fast food eats me. I cannot escape it!
Today alone I probably ingested at least half of my daily caloric intake on one fast food meal. Gross! I shudder to think of the times when I’ve eaten two, or even three meals a day via drive thru.
I’m going to stop carrying cash, because I have a strict rule of “charge nothing under ten dollars” on my debit card. I hope this will help.
then I just get back into the old habit of having fast food at least 3 times a week (counting pizza). I have broken the awful habit of eating fast food for lunch by eating a can of low sodium soap everday. Its alot healthier for you and it only cost about $2.
Honestly, I havent eaten fast food in months. I always refrain form eating fries and now I’m a vegetarian as well, so it’s easy to ignore the cheeseburgers and chicken nuggets.
If you do this, you will feel SO MUCH BETTER!
