knit something for myself

I’ve been knitting since october08 and seem to be making things for everyone else. so i’m gonna make something for myself using natural yarns like a dress or cardigan.

Something along the style of one of these dusters….nice texture, sensual drape….not sure about color yet.

I have had this goal before, I hope this time around I can actually accomplish it. Knitting is a fall and winter activity for me, and I enjoy it. However, I have never made anything for myself. I have made hats, scarves, pillows, slippers, purses, trinkets, for others, but never for myself. I’d like to tackle a more challenging project, like a jacket of some sort, a long, sleek, figure flattering sweater coat, in a sumptuous color, with gorgeous buttons…...must start looking around for patterns. Or a beautiful, girly, shawl..or both!
