lauren is writing an essay about "The Moviegoer"
i live in a humungous house, and i want to make large fabric, so a large floor loom is what i want. granted it will probably take me an extremely long time, so i will make a small table loom in the meantime.
For others doing this, an EXCELLENT book you need to get your hands on is “Loom Construction” by Hjert.. It is easy to understand, and spells out exact instructions for making 5 different looms. It is indespensable if you want to build a nice loom, simple or complex.

I live in a VERY small space, so I will have to start small.
I have purchased the materials for a small frame loom. I had the 2×4 pieces cut to size when I bought them. However, it’s going to take LOTS of sanding before I can do the construction.
However, it’s been cold until recently, and I do NOT want to sand indoors! (I still remember trying to clean up after my woodcarving project…) So, once my father-in-law is done with his current project, I’m going to borrow his power sander and get started!
