I’ve read or at least given them all a chance. I had a clear out yesterday and now have 3 big bags full to take to the charity shop.

“Read every book in my bookshelf before buying more”, and decided that since I’m making no attempt at all to stick to it (have ordered 2 new ones today), I may as well abandon it. Now I see that I don’t have the “before buying more” clause - but am going to chuck it anyway. I think that the completed “mediatheque at work” goal will stop me buying more trashy stuff than I would otherwise have done - and any books I do buy and think others will enjoy I can take to the mediatheque. So progress has been made, just in other way than expected. Excellent.

- Finish the things I start
- Stop making lists of goals and actually do something
- Don’t buy any more tea until have drunk all/most of/at least half of tea in cupboard
and so on ad infinitum. Perhaps it will be easier to work on the tea goal first. I have about 75 different sorts in the cupboard. There must be an end to it!

_ I still think this is a very noble goal / quest / endeavor. But i’ve come to the conclusion that, for me, this is like constantly running up down escalator—i buy books far faster than i ever could stay on top of finishing reading every book i own. (heck, if i could just get every book SHELVED, instead of stacked in piles, that’d be an accomplishment -!)_(lol)
so instead, i’m going to make my focus more on Finishing every book i start reading ( i’ve a propensity to jump around alot—have 20 to 30 books going at any one time ). And continue to build my library… :)
