How to get a Daily Deviation on deviantART

 "i've loved beign a part of the deviantART community, this is definitely a milestone for me. Wow."
How I did it: One night I wrote a poem about growing old graciously, and put it on deviantart. It was probably the best poem i've ever written. Someone wonderful critiqued it for me, and then recommened it as a DD and today, the eleventh of may 2009, is the day that it got featured as one!!! Lessons & tips: Just keep doing your best, it pays off in the end! Resources: Imagination and vision is a must. |

I would like to get a DD but i doubt i’ll get one (yet) lol – i hold out hope for the future.
heh, i tried for SO long to get a daily deviation, so eventually I gave up. It really dosn’t matter if you get one or not, it’s not going to make you a better artist.
About a month after I gave up, i got one!

Oh, and if you put in suggestions (for other members art) the staff say you are more likely to get one.
While a great goal, there really isn’t much you can do directly to make force it to happen. The best route to achieving it is to just keep practicing your art, whatever medium.

Not only did I give up this goal, I gave up deviant art. DA has too many people stealing photos for photomanips and role-playing character ideas (don’t even get me started…) that I didn’t feel it safe to have my stuff on there anymore. I had a few photos used and had to ask the posters to remove them as they’d used my photos without permission and my stuff is NOT STOCK.
Too much risk, not near enough reward. I’m done.
I get a little closer, a little better, a little more focused
...but how long do I have to wait to reap this patient reward? Do I even have the stanima to continue to pour my heart out in photography? the only place I’m noticed at is at my quaint little table in my photography class at school.
And then Deviant Art took it down.
I hate censorship.
I stopped giving DA money, too.
