Today I figured out that I have been in a bad mood since about April or May. I’m not sure why I am. I just am. And I hate not being able to feel happy. I’ve always been a happy person. One of the things I love most about myself is my smile. A smile that you rarely see now. So, to combat my bad case of unhappiness, I did two things. I bought a book and started a list.
The book is titled The Book Of Awesome. It is written by Neil Pasricha. In TBoA, Pasricha describes awesome ordinary things like fresh from the dryer clothes and things that can grow wings.
I was thinking about starting a book of lists called The Book of Lists. Probably my first list would be titled Ingredients To Happiness. The list would probably look something like this…
*Surround Yourself With People You Love
*Change Negative Thoughts into Positive Ones
*Look Good= Feel Good About Self= Happier
*Enjoy the little things
*Make the Best Of Every Situation
*Try new things
*Become more Independent
