Now I live in Washington, DC, which isn’t a state, and I don’t get a vote in Congress!
How to live Out Of State
It made me
Accomplished 
"Moved 800 miles away to another state"
How I did it: I made an effort to have as much in place before I left as I could, but in the end I had to just go. I had an apartment ready for me ahead of time, I had a short term plan. I didn't use any of those things. Due to circumstances I was very short on money, and wound up staying with family at my destination.
Lessons & tips: Don't be afraid to ask someone for help.
