    I went to the gym tonight even though I was quite tired and didn’t really want to. My leg muscles were sore from working out with my husband day before yesterday. He’d had me in the weight room doing squats and then showed me something new to me – Romanian dead lifts. He said they’d tone the backs of my legs and strengthen my lower back. He wasn’t kidding. Even though they felt deceptively easy at the time, my legs have been sore since yesterday morning. So, tonight I stretched really good then went on the treadmill for about 45 minutes and just walked fast. I was feeling better after that and did some crunches, lifted 15 lb weights different ways, and then did some lunge walks. I’ll probably feel sore again tomorrow, but I’m feeling good about it tonight. I’m getting healthier, toning up, and have ensured that I’ll sleep well tonight.

    I mean, from going on LONG walks all the time for fun and cycling all the time, I’m pretty solid and firm, but I wanna keep that up when winter comes along (which is when I tend to get flabby again), so I purchased a set of five pound weights (since I’m a woman). I’m VERY strong now for a woman.

    I can start to see a bit of chiseling in my stomach.

    I’m so happy!

    Altho I had to gain four pounds (because I went overboard on my target by four pounds) so that I won’t have that “sick” look again, I can still see progress in my abs.

    Sadly, I wasn’t able to attain my goal in time for the go-see of the Philippine FHM 100 Sexiest show.

    There’s always next year!



    After losing the pounds 3 years ago

    I am now off to my goal of toning my muscles.

    Losing the pounds is one thing. This one is another thing.

    Must continue the exercise program.

    Who knows, I might still lose more fat and gain muscle.
