How I did it: Getting rid of caffeine was hard at first as I tried to do it while starting a new and demanding job. I started out by drinking the lightly caffeinated tea in the morning, and then eliminating it completely. About a month into my no-caffeine, someone gave me a beverage that had caffeine unbeknownst to me, and it set me off- my heart raced, my mood changed, I could not sleep, my head hurt. Now my body simply cannot handle it. I am happy that my body rejects it now. Read how I did it… 2 years ago

Originally, I aimed to eliminated soda from my diet, but realized what I really wanted to rid myself of was the caffeinated types- Coke, Pepsi…. . So, I have changed the name of this goal.
I am doing well with it although I am really tired in the morning! LoL! I need to find another avenue to wake up in the morn. Maybe exercise? Ugh! I am not a morning exercise girl! Hmmm… 3 years ago

Well…does that count?
I haven’t had Pepsi or Coke in about a week or so! I still consume 7-Up…which is technically still soda, but…. :) I will continue on the no Pepsi/Coke trend for a few more weeks and then consider removing 7-Up as well….not sure if I really want to go there though! :) 3 years ago

... aside from the little bit that is in chocolate, I have eliminated caffeine from my diet. The only sodas I willingly drink now are “white sodas” and I’m working on eliminating those as well. I’m on my way! 3 years ago
