How to clean out my car
It made me
 "It so refreshing to not have to freak out if someone asks for a ride because of the mess in the car!"
How I did it: I used to have the most cluttered car in the world. It was like an alternate storage space & a black hole of all lost things-with wheels. Unfortunately, said car was a piece of crap and I had to Lemon Law it. When it came time to turn it in to the dealer for refund it took me 2 entire days to clean it up!!! Resources: A couple of years ago I got a glove box organizer thing to keep a pen, paper, maintenance records, insurance and registration information, it also has a little flashlight and an all in one tool thingie.

I live on the same street as a car wash, so I took it there. My wife helped me with this goal. She bought me a car detailing package in a silent auction, so they did the hard work for me. I’ve done a pretty good job of keeping the car clean since then.
Naturally, every time my wife gets in the car, it’s on the one day where there’s a Burger King bag on the floor. They’re never there for more than a day anymore, and there is never more than one.

My car has served as a partial rolling office when I meet with clients. It is no excuse for a mess I am not used to. I blame it on being in overwhelm, and what is true, is that on nice days, I want to play not clean it out. Time to stop procrastinating.

The weather was decent & I was killing a bit of time before picking my Mom up from one of her trips. So the Boy & I started to clean out the car, It did not get finished but it is drastically better! I had hoped to finish today but it was very windy and I wound up going out to klubch & shopping with Mom instead.
I am going to get this done and off the list!!!!

My car is terribly disgusting. I can admit that; I know its true. There are fast food bags, cups, recipts, tissues, and a ton of other things that are strewn all throughout the car. There is dirt ground into the carpet and it has a funny smell. It is way overdue for a good clean.
I also need to keep people who go into my car aware of this as well. A lot of my friends seem to leave their stuff in my car or through their trash in it. I understand its dirty, but that doesn’t mean they should add their mess to it. I want to clean it so it doesn’t invite even more garbage.

i took out everything that doesn’t belong and vacuumed the floor and seats. it looks a little better but there is still mud caked on everything… not very pretty. still, i already feel a little better. i think i’m going to take her in to the car wash tomorrow and hopefully get that strange sticky smudge off the driver side window. i’m tired of having to tell people that it isnt sexual…
