It’s currently just as messy as my room. Not good.

How I did it: I had a date later that day so I had to get it clean. Spent about 2 hours doing it. Hit up a car wash and vacumed the inside out. Also bought an industrial-strength carpet cleaner and used that on the stains. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I got my car from my grandmother. I couldn't drive it for a year cause I couldn't have my license. Not only did my grndmother totally trash this car, so did my dad by spilling sunflower seeds, soda, and trash. The carpet was covered in stains, the ceiling stained, the exterior was dirty and there was grime in the nooks and crannies of the car. I tried cleaning it when I first got it a year ago but I got too overwhelmed. Yesturday I had ha… Read how I did it…

How I did it: The reason I said it's not worth doing is that I cleaned it so that my wife could go to reno with her friends. They end up using her friends car. What a waste of time.Anyhow, I went through a carwash place at a gas station. Then, at the same gas station, I used the vacuum and scent sprays. Read how I did it…

destroyingempathy is working...hardly.
I’m horrible when it comes to keeping my car clean, inside and out. The inside needs some major detailing and dumping of trash and other things that do not need to be in the car at all. Then I just need to clean the outside. This isn’t hard, I’ll get it done eventually!
I got my car from my grandmother about a year ago. It is sooo dirty! And it wasn’t because of me! I just got my license a few days ago. My grandmother has dirty ground into the nooks and crannies and the light carpet is stained all over and there was spilt lotion on the inside of the armrest. She even got the roof of the car stained! This was all very surprising because my grandmother is a very clean & classy woman. And on top of that, my dad has been driving my car for the past year so he got food on the ground and trash all throughout the car.
I started cleaning the car when a first got it a year ago but it was so overwhelming that I couldn’t do it. Plus my dad said he was going to go and get it detailed but that never happened.
I started cleaning the car again now that I have my license. I sat in the car for about 1 1/2 hours and cleaned all the nooks and crannies in the car with Clorox Clean Wipes. That was the first thing that really bothered me about the car and I feel much better now that I’ve cleaned it.
I’m going to make this a three day event and break it up into different parts so that I won’t feel so overwhelmed:
Day One-Clean all the nooks and crannies. done!Day Two-Vaccum and shampoo the carpets.
Day Three-Wash the exterior of the car.
Hopefully I can do both day two and three tomarrow. I’m pretty sure that I can. Keeping the car clean afterwards shouldn’t be much of a problem for me since I hate it when my things are dirty.
JJ AND HIS MOM NEEDED A RIDE SO I HRRIED AND CLEANED MY CAR IM SO HAPPY THAT ITS FINALLY CLEAN

Looking black again! It didn’t last for long though, because I went to Chicoutimi in the afternoon and it was raining, and since the roads are still not very clean, I get mud on the car as soon as I follow another car. Now it’s all dirty again, bleh…

And it took exactly 5 hours. :P
I took all the stuff and trash out of the car. Empty bottles and cans, plus some stuff I keep in it.
I vacuumed the whole car, the seats, the carpets, the trunk.
I cleaned the dashboard and all those little compartments, and all the plastic surfaces, and also the inside of the doors and trunk, with some all purpose soap and water.
I rubbed the whole dashboard as well as the interior of the doors with a cloth and some Armor All, to make everything shine.
I washed the outside two times. Then dried it with a cloth, and then washed the little remaining spots with Windex.
I cleaned the windows, outside and inside. As well as all the mirrors.
I took the stuff I didn’t need anymore out, threw away some, brought some back in the house. I’ve put the rest back in the car, but in places where it doesn’t look like it’s a mess.
I classified my CD’s to put them back into alphabetical order.
I took the rubber AND cloth carpets out, washed them with the pressure machine, brushed them with some bleach, rinsed them and put them on the clothesline.
I put some shiny stuff on the tires.
I think it looks alright now! The only bad thing is that I said I was going to take pictures… and I didn’t take any. :P
I’ll make sure to take one tomorrow, and show the car in its full cleanliness. :)
Maxime :)
Now I understand why everyone kept telling me I was gonna hate washing a black car.
ARGH!!!
